We build five-star bathrooms for the right price.

Five Star Bathrooms started with a simple observation: the bathroom renovation market in Sydney runs on headline prices that are not the real price. A number gets you in the door, then the tile supply, the screen, the vanity and the waterproofing certificate each arrive as a separate line once the walls are already open.

So we priced the whole room instead. Demolition through to handover, every trade, every fitting, the rubbish and the certificates — one number, in writing, that holds. Over a thousand bathrooms, kitchens and laundries later, that is still the entire business model.

Today we are part of the Five Star Homes Group, which builds new homes, knockdown rebuilds and full home renovations across Sydney. The same trades work across both sides of the business, and the Group buys materials in volume for all of it. That is where our package pricing comes from — not from taking things out.

Warranty cover of two to ten years depending on the element, with waterproofing carrying our longest. Documentation and certificates are handed over at completion, not promised later.

Public Liability, Workers Compensation and Home Building Compensation cover through iCare on eligible projects. We supply the certificates strata committees ask for as a matter of course.

For you, that matters in three practical ways:

  • Volume buying. Tiles, tapware, stone and cabinetry are bought across every job in the Group, which is where our package pricing comes from.
  • Depth of trade. The same crews work across renovations and new builds, so nobody is learning your bathroom on the job.
  • Scope headroom. If your project grows — a wall has to move, an extension makes more sense, council approval is needed — that capability is in the same business, not a referral.

About the company.

Our own trades, and the same project manager throughout. The plumbers, waterproofers, tilers and cabinetmakers who work on your bathroom work across every Five Star job — ours and the Five Star Homes Group's new builds. That continuity is the reason we can commit to a three-week bathroom and hit it.

Buying power and depth. The Group buys tiles, tapware, stone and cabinetry across bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, renovations and new-home builds, which is why our package prices sit where they do. It also means that if your project turns out to need structural work, an extension or council approval, that capability is in the same business rather than a referral to a stranger.

Over 1,000 bathrooms, kitchens and laundries across Sydney since we started. That volume is the reason we can quote a fixed price confidently — we already know what a 1960s Inner West terrace hides behind the wall, and what a 1990s strata bathroom in Hurstville needs to pass its by-law.

NSW Builder's Licence 338649C, ACN 629 605 803. We carry Public Liability and Workers Compensation insurance, and provide Home Building Compensation (HBCF) cover through iCare on eligible projects. Certificates are available on request, and we supply them to strata committees as standard.
